I just got back from a fabulous show in Cambridge MA, and I've got another in Northampton MA tomorrow night.
Happy happy happy!
(I'll review really soon - before I forget the stuff that was said
A logistical question - I hope someone here can explain.
I know sales have been limited in the past based on whatever label Sonny's current CD contract was with.
I heard a rumor that he now can sell any of his CDs because he bought the rights.
I'm just asking because the fans want CDs and, for whatever reason, we don't have them to sell at shows.
Especially old releases.
Can Sonny's Krewe sell them?
We could buy South of I-10 and Outward Bound for about $8.00 retail, and sell them for $20 at shows.
I'd be happy to donate some new CDs to the Krewe to get this started, if it's not illegal.
Better than a 100% profit for the Tommy Comeaux Fund, plus it would be great to have the CDs at the shows just to look at and talk about!
Also - The Road We're On seams to be crazy-scarce on the CD market.
It's worth $23 at a minimum, and we don't have any to sell at the shows.
I highly recommend that one!!!
How come it is so scarce?
If anyone has had similar thoughts or can provide insight - I'd love to hear about it!
